More than 4 million units of products tied to 3:16: The Numbers of Hope by Max Lucado (Thomas Nelson), including a million copies of the book, have been sold since the title was released in September 2007—company officials said.

Nelson and a group of licensed partners—including DaySpring cards, Bob Siemon Designs and Kerusso—created and distributed a wide variety of 3:16 products such as booklets, greeting cards, wearable items, video resources and church musicals. The rate of sales for the 3:16 brand was the fastest-selling product in Lucado's 23 years in the publishing industry.

A 3:16 TV special is planned for Easter 2009, and the paperback version of 3:16 will be available in stores next June, Nelson officials said.
