Donald Miller, author of the New York Times best-seller Blue Like Jazz (Thomas Nelson Publishers), is offering a sneak peek at his next book to supporters of his charity fundraising campaign.

Miller sets off next month on a seven-week, cross-country cycle ride from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., to raise money for Blood:Water Mission, an organization that drills wells in Africa to provide clean water.

Donations to the Ride: Well Tour as low as $1 qualify for a download of the first chapter of A Million Miles in a Thousand Years, due to be published next year.
