Mike Miller, the new executive publisher of NavPress, said he is going to bring the publishing company back to its roots as a "mission based, servant publisher," in a recent statement.

Miller, a former LifeWay executive and one of the founders of GodTube, said he wants to make significant changes at the 30-year-old publishing company. One of the changes will be to emphasize NavPress' association with its parent ministry, The Navigators, which he said is a unique advantage.

"Many of the largest and most well-known faith-based organizations throughout the world have been seeded by the ministry of The Navigators," Miller said. "Other publishers are stand-alone and not connected to anything. At NavPress we are first and foremost Navigators."
