Thomas Nelson Publishers is supporting a National Bible Week challenge in New York City this week. For the first time, Bible-reading is being championed by volunteers who sign up at www.NationalBibleWeek.com to read the Bible in 10-minute increments. The campaign's goal is to fill the slots 24 hours a day for the entire week.

The campaign was launched by ReachOUT.tv, a New York City-based TV show run by ReachOUT.org. Nelson Bibles has pledged to donate up to 1,000 Bibles to the volunteer readers as part of its Million Bible Challenge campaign. The campaign extends through this Sunday, Nov. 27, at 9:30 a.m.
