Christian audiobook publisher Oasis Audio has announced the appointment of a new general manager. Rick J. Pritikin will serve as the general manager and director of marketing, effective immediately, for the Carol Stream, Ill., company.

"We're delighted to have Rick join our team," said Edward Elliott, publisher of Oasis Audio, in a statement. "His remarkable industry experience including corporate development and marketing expertise will be beneficial to our customers."

Pritikin, a 20-year Christian product industry veteran, has worked in a sales and marketing capacity for Crossway Books & Bibles/Good News Publishers, Thomas Nelson and Unison Music Distribution. Most recently, Pritikin served as chairman of the board for The Messianic Times and as president of Page Music Inc.

He is also the founder and president of the Christian Fellowship & Placement Ministries Inc.

Oasis Audio releases 80 to 100 titles annually in the Christian product market.
