Running 130 minutes and intended for teens and adults, the program features 47 daily reflections including songs, poems, Easter traditions and classic art. Daily Bible readings in PDF format include four translations. The DVD retails for $14.99.

freedom begins hereA multifaceted campaign addressing the problem of pornography and sexual addiction, Freedom Begins Here from Gray Communications (800-364-6863) includes a DVD presentation with contributions from experts like Gary Smalley and Mark Laaser. With almost four hours’ content, the program releasing this month retails for $19.99 and is designed for individual and small group use.

Originally aired as part of the PBS “P.O.V.” series, the 75-minute documentary Inheritance ($26.95) was released on DVD Jan. 20 by Docurama Films. It tells of the Holocaust education work of Monika Hertwig and her remarkable meeting with a survivor of the camp at which Hertwig’s father—executed when she was a baby—was commandant. The first series of Tyndale House Publishers’ “Friends & Heroes” animated Bible stories concludes this month with the release of episodes 11-13. Each running 30 minutes, the programs tell the stories of the Passover and the crucifixion (Exodus), Jonah (No Way Out) and Elijah and the prophets of Baal (No Turning Back). Each features young adventurers Macky and Portia, and retails for $12.97.

Thirteen stories from Gwen EllisRead and Share Bible are presented in Thomas Nelson’s Read and Share DVD Bible, Volume 3, releasing Feb. 3. Aimed at ages 3-7, each story is three minutes in length. With a total running time of 60 minutes, the program retails for $14.99. Stories include: “Promised Land” and “Samson.”
