Mel Gibson’s popular The Passion of The Christ arrived on Blu-ray Disc last month from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment (Word Distribution). Retailing for $34.99, the two-disc set includes both the original theatrical version and a less violent, re-cut edition. Extras include commentary from Gibson and an exclusive making-of documentary.

robe blu rayFox goes back further in its vaults for The Robe: Special Edition, available for the first time in high definition, March 17, for $19.98. The classic 1953 double-Oscar winner stars Richard Burton as the centurion whose life is changed after he oversees the crucifixion.

Standing on the Word: Bibleman is back this month in Blasting the Big Gamemaster Bully. Subtitled “A Lesson in Standing Up for What’s Right,” the 60-minute Thomas Nelson adventure for 4- to 10-year-olds about school bullying is based on Ecclesiastes 4:12. It retails for $14.99.

Gigi, God’s Little Princess returns, too, with Gigi’s Ginormous Sneeze (Thomas Nelson). The hour-long March 3 release’s two episodes, “The Ginormous Sneeze” and “A Trip to the Zoo,” offer lessons for girls ages 3 to 7 about prayer and uniqueness. Retail price, $14.99.
