The Munce Group's Christian Product Expo (CPE) kicks off this weekend at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Scheduled for Sept. 13-15, the event opens with a Bible conference featuring Kay Arthur. Keynote speaker will be David Jeremiah, with Stan Toler and Ernie Haase and Signature Sound among the authors and artists in attendance.

Bridge-Logos’ ‘Cash for Clunker Books’ Print Email

In a promotion that plays off the government's much-publicized "Cash for Clunkers" effort to boost auto sales, Bridge-Logos Foundation is offering independent Christian stores a "Cash for Clunker Books" incentive.

Retailers who buy 12 books will receive a 50% discount, free freight and $10 credit for a "clunker book" in their store--no matter who published it, company officials said.

STL Distribution moves to new facility Print Email

STL Distribution North America has consolidated its four warehouses, moving to a new facility to increase space and improve shipping efficiency for the nonprofit distributor.

According to company officials, 110 employees along with 275 volunteers moved 65,000 SKUs of inventory as well as truckloads of office furniture, fixtures, files, machinery and equipment to the new offices and warehouse at 100 Biblica Way in Elizabethton, Tenn.

No ‘Christian Retailing Update’ on Monday Print Email

The offices of Christian Retailing will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of the Labor Day holiday, but will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 8. There will be no Christian Retailing Update report Monday.

GoBible's specials to Christian retailers are being featured in the Virtual Christian Retailing Show.

Hosted by Christian Retailing magazine--the Web-based event features 25 exhibitors presenting products and extending some special offers to buyers. Since it was launched July 20, the virtual show has attracted more than 4,000 visits from 61 countries.
