What type of today's customer is buying ballcaps, beanies and other headgear? "For ball caps, it's younger guys, but all age groups still buy. Beanies are strictly youth, and Fedoras go up to young adults. Girls buy fashion hats and beanies."

What's new in summer and winter headgear design? "Fedoras are making a strong play this winter. Fancy beanies will be popular as well."
Have prices changed much in the past year on these products? "Prices remain extremely competitive. It will be a value-driven holiday season."
How can retailers reach out to potential customers and increase sales for headgear? "Add them to a T-shirt for a combo buy. Pre-design outfits to include hats on a mannequin, so dads with no style sense can buy an entire outfit for their kids ... or wife!"
What is NOTW's most popular headgear product? "Our basic ball cap."
