We asked:

Cause marketing teams a for-profit business with a nonprofit organization for their mutual benefit. For example, Kerusso has partnered with Compassion International in the "Live for Him" campaign. Is cause marketing a good thing, or as some have suggested, just "selfish giving"?

"I think Cause Marketing is great. I intend to launch my business by sowing a percentage of each sales by to 30 non-profits in exchange for them marketing and advertising my product."

Renee' E Carter

"I think that if the company truly has a heart for the mission, they know that and it works well for both parties. However, I do know businesses that use non-profit functions to make a name for themselves and sell their product. When doing something for someone else is the main focus and you know it, God works through that. Otherwise, it is more in vain, but can still look good."
