With Father's Day approaching, what types of products are not-to-miss?
"Thomas Nelson this year has released two new NIV camouflage Bibles that have been a huge hit with men. Of course, B&H's The Sportsman's Bible and Bardin Marsee's waterproof Bibles are also great sellers. P. Graham Dunn has some very nice outdoor-themed art as well. Christian Outdoorsman has three father-child T-shirt designs we must mention-Huntin' Buddies, Fishin' Buddies and Pardners. They are best-sellers of ours at all times, but especially during this season."

Are there any trends in color or theme, for instance, retailers need to be aware of for Father's Day?
"Outdoor-themed, camouflage products always sell well for the masculine market. (Retailers,) I would scour your catalogs in search of outdoor men's products. In addition to Christian-themed products, I would recommend some generic outdoor gifts like antler-themed picture frames and such."

In terms of pricing, what do you expect consumers will be buying for dad this year?
"I think that people are scaling back a bit in terms of price point. I would look for items $24.99 and under."

How can stores add on to sales per customer this season?
"A smaller P.O.S. Father's Day display might be a good idea to catch the attention of all your customers, reminding them of the special day fast approaching, with lower-priced impulse purchase items."

What recommendations do you have for merchandising/display of Father's Day products?
"In addition to a small P.O.S. display, I would have a significant display in a high-traffic, entry aisle. You might consider having a man in the store set up the display and also give feedback in regard to purchasing."
