Nearly 400 guests watched a number of recording artists perform during the New Artist Showcase Luncheon on Tuesday.

Highlights of the event included singer-songwriter Josh Wilson (Sparrow Records) on guitar playing the radio single "Three-Minute Song" from his debut album, Trying to Fit the Ocean in a Cup, and the re-emergence of the best-selling Crabb family-in two different lineups. Crabb twins Aaron and Adam have formed separate groups that offer the family's modern Southern gospel sound.

Daywind Records' husband-and-wife team Aaron and Amanda Crabb performed songs from their debut project, After the Rain, releasing Aug. 12, while Daywind's Crabb Revival, featuring siblings Adam Crabb and Terah Crabb-Penhollow, who led the crowd in worship and sang from their first album, Runaway Train, which hit stores in June.

Brandon Heath-named New Artist of the Year at the 2008 Dove Awards-hosted the afternoon event and performed his 2007 hit single, "I'm Not Who I Was." Heath also performed songs from his sophomore project, What If We (Reunion Records, Aug. 19).

Also taking the stage were the Daniel Doss Band (Sparrow Records), worship leader Sheri Carr (Varietal Records) and Tenth Avenue North (Reunion Records), who performed current radio favorite "Love Is Here" from Over and Underneath, which released in May.

Distribution companies Provident-Integrity, New Day, Word and EMI CMG also offered attendees the chance to meet most of the artists during booth signings throughout the day.
