Retailers experienced Christmas in July, complete with fake snow falling, at last night's Third Annual Integrity Music Worship Experience. Don Moen hosted the event and introduced Jared Anderson, an associate worship pastor at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colo. Moen led many worship songs, including the title cut from his upcoming October release, Hiding Place. Audience members rose to their feet as NewSong offered its rendition of rock- and swing-style Christmas carols. A new version of their hit “The Christmas Shoes” will also appear on the group's upcoming Christmas release, which was performed last night with Jacob Koch, a young nephew of a NewSong management-office employee.
Retailers were shown a clip of the CBS television movie The Christmas Shoes, and best-selling author Donna VanLiere read excerpts from her Integrity-published books The Christmas Shoes, The Christmas Blessing and The Christmas Hope |
