The Isaacs honored with bluegrass nomination |

The bluegrass/gospel group The Isaacs has garnered a nomination for Vocal Group of the Year from the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA), and Sonya Isaacs has been nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. The annual awards will be presented in Nashville on Oct. 4. “It is an extreme honor to be nominated for these awards at IBMA this year,” Sonya Isaacs said. “We are truly passionate about bluegrass music and to be included in these vocal categories is a priceless gift that we will forever cherish, whether we are chosen to win or not.”
The East Tennessee-based family also will perform at the Bluegrass Fan Fest on Oct. 5 at the Nashville Convention Center, along with 60 other bluegrass artists from around the world. The group recently released its sophomore album for Gaither Music Group, Big Sky
