Nominees for the 7th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards include a number of Christian artists recording in Spanish and Portuguese languages.

In the category of Best Christian Album (in Spanish), the nominees announced by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences were: Aline by Aline Barros (Integrity Music Latin), Vivo para ti by Daniel Calveti (CanZion), Dios es bueno by Marcos Witt (CanZion) and El aire de tu casa by Jesús Adrián Romero (Vástago Record).

Barros also was nominated in the category of Best Christian Album (in Portuguese) for Aline Barros & Cia (MK Music). All of the other nominees for Portuguese-language releases were from Line Records: Jóia rara by Mara Maravilha, As canções da minha vida 15 anos-ao vivo by Cristina Mel, Promessas by Soraya Moraes and Tudo o que soul by Robson Nascimento.

The awards, set for Nov. 2 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, will be broadcast live on the Univision Network from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST. The telecast will be supported on radio via Univision Radio, and featured by Univision Online at www.latingrammy.univision.com.
