GMA announces professional tracks for April event |

The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced that GMA Music Week 2006 will be held April 1-5 in Nashville. GMA Music Week 2006 will have four professional tracks: Christian Music Broadcasters; Christian Music Retail Conference; Managers, Agents and Promoters Seminar; and Music Professional (formerly Industry & Associates track). For the first time, GMA will present tracks for independent artists and urban music professionals. Performers already lined up are Louie Giglio, the David Crowder Band, Chris Tomlin and Charlie Hall. More artists will be announced in coming weeks. Registration for the convention has begun, and those who register by Nov. 15 are eligible for a significant discount. The 37th Annual GMA Music Awards will be held April 5 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Hosts and ticket information will be posted this month at wwwgmamusicawards.com.
