GMA ANNOUNCES RADIO STATIONS OF THE YEAR |

The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced the recipients of awards in the 2005 GMA/Christian Music Broadcasters Radio Station of the Year contest. The radio station awards are presented to Christian radio stations that meet the highest standards of quality and have the strongest impact on their listening areas. Awards are given to major, large, medium and small market stations. Winners are: WCIC, Peoria, Ill., David Brooks, station manager (small market); WCQR, Johnson City, Tenn., Mike Perry, station manager (medium market); WPOZ, Orlando, Fla., Jim Hoge, station manager (large market); and KSBJ, Houston, Tim McDermott, station manager (major market).
The radio stations will be acknowledged April 13 during the 36th Annual GMA Music Awards in Nashville.
