Tyndale House Publishers has announced the introduction of SaltRiver Books, a new nonfiction crossover imprint with a goal of "publishing thought-provoking books that draw readers further along in their journey of Christian faith-or to Christian faith." "Tyndale House is one of a small number of publishers whose books have successfully reached both Christians and the broader market," said Janis Long Harris, senior acquisitions director. "Such success has demonstrated that a large crossover market exists for books written from a Christian perspective. SaltRiver Books will provide Tyndale with another avenue to reach a broad audience." SaltRiver Books will seek to provide accessibly intelligent conversation-starters in such areas as spiritual formation, spiritual memoir, leadership, apologetics and life with God in the real world.
Looking for God in Harry Potter by John Granger will be the first book to be released this month under the SaltRiver imprint. The next two SaltRiver releases will be The School of Dying Graces by Dr. Richard Felix, which will release in September, and Beverly Hubble Tauke's Sins of the Family
