The Association of American Publisher's (AAP) Publishing Latino Voices for America Task Force has designated June as “Latino Books Month.” During the month-long celebration, booksellers, librarians, and others in the book industry will encourage people in their communities to read books by and for Latinos, in both English and Spanish.
As part of the initiative, the Task Force has created a Publishing Latino Voices brochure featuring hundreds of titles. The brochure is available on AAP's Web site, http://www.publishers.org, and will be distributed to booksellers, librarians and the general public.
