Mote, Mullen hit SoundScan charts

A new release and one from last year are the two new top 10 entries in the latest music best-seller charts.

Gordon Mote's 2007 Don't Let Me Miss the Glory (Spring Hill Music Group/EMI CMG Distribution) was at no. 6 in SoundScan's Christian/Gospel music list for the week ending July 27, one place ahead of Nicole C. Mullen's last month issue, A Dream to Believe In, Vol. 2 (Word Records/Word Distribution).

The rest of the top 10 was: 1. Greatest Hymns by Selah (Curb Records/Word); 2. All That Is Within Me by MercyMe (INO Records/Provident-Integrity); 3. To Know That You're Alive by Kutless (BEC Recordings/EMI CMG); 4. Relentless by Natalie Grant (Curb Records/Word); 5. How Can We Be Silent by BarlowGirl (Inpop Records/EMI CMG); 8. The Altar and the Door by Casting Crowns (Beach Street Records/Provident-Integrity Distribution); 9. Over and Underneath by Tenth Avenue North (Reunion Records/Provident-Integrity); and 10. Rock What You Got by Superchick (Inpop Records/EMI CMG).

Mote also debuted in the video charts, with his The Best of Gordon Mote (Gaither Music Group/EMI CMG) entering at no. 3. Comedian Anita Renfroe also joined the children's title-dominated top 10 with her latest project, It's Probably Just My Thyroid (Word Entertainment/Word).
