Carolyn Reidy, president and CEO of Simon & Schuster (S&S), is to be the keynote speaker at this year's PubU (Publishing University), hosted by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.

Named one of "50 Women to Watch" by The Wall Street Journal last year, Reidy is to speak at the opening night of the Nov. 2-4 event at The Westin Lombard Yorktown Center in Chicago. S&S's divisions include Christian imprint Howard Books, acquired in 2006.

PubU will feature training and discussion sessions on sales and marketing, production, leadership and management, rights, design, technology and editorial.
