The world's largest retailer recently added another line of Christian-based toys to some of its stores. In late September, Wal-Mart began stocking BibleQuest products in Missouri and Arkansas locations, according to the Arlington, Texas-based toy company. Previously available only in Christian bookstores, BibleQuest toys include detailed biblical action figures of David, Goliath, Noah, Moses, Esther and Daniel as well as puzzles, a card game and the "Exodus From Egypt" board game. "Filling the long overlooked void in the market for the VeggieTales graduate has brought us tremendous positive response," BibleQuest Project Director Andy Osborne said. "Christian consumers are excited about the opportunity to purchase our products in discount supercenters as well as (from) Christian retailers." In August, 425 Wal-Mart stores nationwide started selling faith-based products from One2believe, including "Tales of Glory" toys such as a 13-inch Samson action figure.
BibleQuest is a division of Donruss Playoff, a well-known name in the sports trading-card field. For more information on BibleQuest products, visit www.biblequest.com.
