Baker Publishing Group President Dwight Baker is to be keynote speaker at Christian Trade Association International's (CTAI) Marketsquare International: A World of Opportunity at the Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Center in Toronto, Ontario, Jan. 24-26, 2008. Baker is to speak at the opening banquet at the show, organized to meet the needs of foreign Christian products buyers following the cancellation of CBA's Advance winter show. Baker became the third president of his Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company in 1997, following his father and previous president, Richard Baker, and grandfather, Herman Baker, who founded the company in 1939.
The Toronto Mass Choir will also be part of the CTAI opening event. Announcing the program, CTAI President Jim Powell said that since Marketsquare International was focused on international business, "we knew there would need to be a world-class program."
