After months of working together in a publisher-developer relationship, Green Key Books has joined forces with Big Shiny Planet (BSP), a development company of music-driven Bible study curriculum, featuring artists such as BarlowGirl, Stellar Kart and Building 429, officials for both companies said.

"Green Key has always been about reaching people with the unchanging truth using creative and innovative methods," Green Key President Pete Castor said. " … This merger will allow us to work from the same side of the fence in order to be more strategic and more effective from product development to sales and marketing."

Alan Vermilye, founder and president of BSP added: "One of the primary goals of any Bible study should be to drive the participant back to God's Word. Combining efforts with Green Key and its God's Word Bible translation allows us the opportunity to do just that."

In November, Green Key and BSP will release "UP," the first four volumes of Bible study DVDs, featuring six sessions with three artists. Green Key will retain its headquarters outside Tampa, Fla., while BSP will remain in Nashville.
