Best-selling Christian novelist Karen Kingsbury has been awarded the Romantic Times (RT) magazine's 2006 Career Achievement Award for the Inspirational category, according to the romance writing publication. “I'm amazed and honored at this award, and I am more convinced than ever that the success of the books God has given me to write belongs to Him alone,” she said. Kingsbury has authored more than 30 books, including the best-sellers One Tuesday Morning, Beyond Tuesday Morning, Even Now and Ever After (all published by Zondervan). Recently, Time magazine called her “the queen of Christian romance.” She has more than 5 million books in print, Zondervan said. Beginning in 2008, Zondervan will be Kingsbury's exclusive publisher in the Christian retail channel.
