In an effort to “reposition itself for the future,” HarperSanFrancisco (HSF) has announced that it is changing its name to HarperOne, effective in June. The publisher's notable Christian authors include Billy Graham, Richard Foster, Dallas Willard, Eugene Peterson and N.T. Wright. HarperOne, which publishes books on religion, spirituality and personal growth, is a division of HarperCollins Publishers.
Mark Tauber, HSF's vice president and deputy publisher, said that “one of the drawbacks of the HSF name is that many assume we are a regional publisher publishing books on the lifestyle of the West Coast. Our new name overcomes that and is as broad as our program.”
