DaySpring nominated for 'LOUIE' Awards Print Email

DaySpring Cards has been nominated as a finalist in three categories of the 19th annual International Greeting Card Awards competition, known as the “LOUIE” Awards.

According to the Greeting Card Association, the competition for the best greeting card products of the year drew more than 1,000 entries in 57 categories from 150 U.S. and international publishing companies.

In the New Baby/Pregnancy (below $3) category, DaySpring's Christian Expressions' Max Lucado card featuring Psalm 127:3, The Living Bible was nominated, while The Lord Is My Shepherd Card, with a white embossed on light blue background featuring Psalm 23:1-3, King James Version, was a finalist in the Sympathy (below $3) category. Additionally, the gold embossed For My Beautiful Bride on Our Wedding Day card, featuring Ephesians 3:20-21, New International Version, was nominated in the Engagement/Wedding/Anniversary (below $3) category.

“The LOUIE Awards signify the best in the greeting card industry, and it is a great honor for DaySpring to be nominated as a finalist in these three categories,” said Mike Markovich, DaySpring's vice president of product development.

DaySpring has been nominated and won multiple LOUIE Awards in each of the last four years, including last year's Card of the Year award. This year's winners will be announced during the National Stationery Show, taking place May 20-23 in New York City.
