Zondervan's Inspired By … The Bible Experience is among four finalists for the Audiobook of the Year award, the Audio Publishers Association (APA) announced today.

Besides Inspired By … The Bible Experience, a dramatized audio recording of the New Testament featuring a cast of more than 250 African-American celebrities, musicians and clergy, the finalists include This I Believe (Audio Renaissance), To Kill a Mockingbird (Caedmon Audio) and World War Z (Random House Audio). The Audiobook of the Year recognizes the audiobook with the greatest impact on the audio publishing industry.

Inspired By … The Bible Experience was already named a finalist in three categories for The Audies--Package Design, Inspirational/Spiritual and Achievement in Production--the APA said.

Awarding excellence in audiobook publishing, The Audies gala celebration will be held at The Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center on June 1 in New York City.
