“Straight Talk About God's Deliverance,” speaker and author Beth Moore's recent simulcast with artist Travis Cottrell, was the largest single event of its kind, according to the Church Communication Network (CCN). Hosted via satellite by 550 sites nationwide, the five-and-a-half-hour event, broadcast live from Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas, on Feb. 24, impacted more than 150,000 women. Deborah Layman, director of events for CCN, said besides the 4,000 women at the live venue, “the anointed combination of Travis' music and Beth's teaching literally brought women to their knees. We have received amazing feedback from churches about women whose lives were changed as a result of this event. Many of them received Christ for the first time.”
The program was based on Moore's recent release, Get Out of That Pit: Straight Talk About God's Deliverance
