Word Distribution, one of the largest suppliers of Christian entertainment products, has announced an exclusive international distribution agreement with Música Unilit, Editorial Unilit's music division.

The deal, which went into effect Jan. 1, has Música Unilit representing all Word Entertainment products in the U.S. Spanish Christian retail market accounts, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico and Brazil.

Founded in 1974 by David Ecklebarger and his wife, Catherine, Editorial Unilit is the largest distributor of evangelical Spanish literature. Editorial Unilit also started the Hispanic Christian trade show Expolit, held annually in Miami.

Luis Fernández Jr., vice president of sales and marketing for Editorial Unilit, is working with Word Distribution under the agreement. “We are excited to be partnering with Editorial Unilit on their new launch into music distribution,” said Keith Stancil, vice president of international and general market sales for Word Distribution. “Luis Fernández has been a part of Word's success in the Latin market in the past, and we are thrilled to be working with him and his sales team.”
