Left Behind Games Inc. (LBG) has announced the first period of revenue for the inspirational video game company based on sales from Left Behind: Eternal Forces. LBG recorded gross revenues of $2.2 million-which represents the first six weeks of sales of the PC real-time strategy game, which was launched Nov. 14. Left Behind is LBG's initial product. “Now that we have distribution into more than 10,000 retail locations, we expect to have significantly more revenues and reach profitability in less than 12 months,” said Troy Lyndon, CEO for Left Behind Games.
Lyndon noted that a new LBG product is scheduled for release in September. “We are expanding our sales channels beyond major retailers to include more Christian bookstores, ministry sponsorships, church outreaches, Christian conferences, local area network (LAN) center licensing, viral online and Internet sales, music concerts and trial versions,” he said. “We look forward to a very prosperous year.”
