Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a Christian bookstore in Scottsdale, Ariz. The robber walked into the Jesus Chapel Discount Bookstore Tuesday night, and showed a weapon and demanded money, Scottsdale Officer Mark Clark said, The Arizona Republic reported. A store clerk opened the cash register as ordered by the armed man. As the suspect reached toward the drawer with both hands, the clerk slammed the drawer shut, the newspaper reported.
A struggle later ensued, and the suspect left the store without any money and drove off in an SUV. Officers located neither the suspect nor the vehicle. No injuries were reported, Clark told the newspaper.
