Above the Treeline (ATT), the Web-based inventory-management service, has announced an agreement with Bookstore Manager (BM) to enable stores using the retail software company's program to directly submit sales data to ATT.

The partnership will allow BM stores to “seamlessly integrate with Above the Treeline,” said John Rubin, president and CEO of ATT. The agreement also means that stores can “easily move buy and return lists back and forth between the two systems,” he added.

Randy Voorhees, founder of BM, the leading Christian retail software provider, said that the data partnership was the natural next step for retailers: “As the volume of requests have grown over the last year, we decided it was easier for all concerned if Bookstore Manager created and managed a pipeline that collects the data from our individual store users--when they desire to participate--and then pass it on to the appropriate party. This will allow our users an efficient way to exchange data with Above the Treeline.”

Launched in 2002 and used by more than 400 independent booksellers, ATT pulls daily sales and inventory from retailers' P.O.S. systems, and presents information in visual charts and graphs to help retailers compare and analyze their sales.
