Standard Publishing has reached an agreement with LifeBridge Christian Church and authors Rick Rusaw and Eric Swanson to publish the “Life on Loan” series of trade books and Christian education materials. LifeBridge, in Longmont, Colo., created the “Life on Loan” concept as a means to emphasize the importance of church members participating in and impacting community life.

The first offering in this series, Living a Life on Loan, from Rusaw and Swanson, will be released in July 2006, challenging Christians to remember that their lives in Christ are not their own.

“Serving in an externally focused church like LifeBridge naturally led us to share the personal characteristics found in living a life on loan from God,” said co-author and LifeBridge Senior Minister Rusaw.

Following the release of the trade book, Standard Publishing will launch a variety of additional materials next fall to assist churches in introducing the Life on Loan concept to their members. “This newly formed partnership aligns with Standard Publishing's vision to provide excellent resources that are in tune with the needs of families and churches,” said Darrell Lewis, vice president of Marketing for Standard Publishing.
