Christian products industry consultant Jim Seybert has created a daily Web Log version of his Market Intelligence online newsletter as a way of giving people more frequent access to his thought-provoking observations and suggestions. The blog features daily installments on topics ranging from the rapid decline of the low-carb diet craze to the advent of a new television network founded by former vice president Al Gore.

As does the Market Intelligence, the blog is focused on “helping people do things differently,” Seybert said.

“Learning to think differently is a difficult process and I wanted to give people something to think about more frequently than once a month,” explained Seybert, who is also a Christian Retailing advisory board member. “This is like daily calisthenics for the mind.”

Entries on the FoolsBox blog are typically no longer than 150 words and are designed to be read in 60 seconds or less.''

The blog's title-FoolsBox-is a reference to medieval times when the Court Jester, or Fool, was the only person allowed to speak truthfully to a monarch
