Living in God's Love: The New York Crusade is scheduled to release to the CBA market in August by Charisma House, an imprint of Strang Communications. The book will include a collection of Billy Graham's messages from last weekend's New York crusade. G.P. Putnam's Sons, an imprint of Penguin Group (USA), will release the book to the general market. Charisma House will distribute the book to the CBA market as part of an agreement to distribute all Penguin titles that are appropriate for the Christian market. “The International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) will be one of the first opportunities for CBA retailers to acquire this book, which chronicles Billy Graham's historic New York Crusade,” Bill Conine, vice president of sales and marketing at Strang, which also publishes Christian Retailing. “Retailers will benefit from pre-published discounts at ICRS, and we expect tremendous sales.” Graham, 86, announced that the crusade, held at Corona Park in Flushing Meadows, N.Y., could be his last in the United States. He may accept an invitation to preach in London in the fall if his health permits.
More than 230,000 attended the weekend crusade, according to the Associated Press.
