Word Distribution has announced a Keepin' It Cool promotion designed to ramp up retail music sales. The promotion will offer free aluminum tumblers with certain CD purchases, and runs June 18-Aug.18.

The tumblers come in six colors and promote six artists' latest projects, including Amy Grant, Jaci Velasquez, Big Daddy Weave, BarlowGirl, Point of Grace and VeggieTales' Minnesota Cuke.

Word also is creating online tools to support the promotion, including a downloadable postcard and an animated banner ad. Retail partners can log on to the retailer section of Word Distribution's Web site to incorporate these tools into their online, regional market promotions.
