Pamela Clements has been promoted to vice president and publisher of Rutledge Hill Press, an imprint of Thomas Nelson. She has been Rutledge Hill's vice president and associate publisher since June. Clements has worked in various executive level positions in her 11 years at Thomas Nelson, including roles as vice president of publicity for the Thomas Nelson Book Group and vice president of marketing for Nelson Books. She succeeds Lawrence M. Stone, founder and previous publisher, who is now concentrating on new acquisitions as president emeritus. Rutledge Hill Press was acquired by Thomas Nelson Publishers in 1999, and is the cornerstone of its general-market division, publishing regional and lifestyle books.
"Under Larry Stone's leadership, Rutledge Hill Press has forged a strong identity made up of interesting books from creative authors," Clements said. "I am looking forward to continuing that success while we pursue new projects in similar genres, and am thrilled to have this opportunity to work with the team at Rutledge Hill."
