CanZion-Integrity Distribution (CID)--an alliance between the CanZion Group and Integrity Music Latin--has announced that it will cease joint operations within the U.S., but will continue doing business in Puerto Rico.

Two of the world's leading producers of Latin worship music, Integrity Music Latin and CanZion Group, formed CID last year in an effort to combine sales/marketing and distribution operations for the U.S. and Puerto Rico--while maintaining separate operations for all international markets.

"Working with the CanZion team has been a pleasure," said Hans Groeneveld, president of Integrity International. "However, we feel that as each label grows, it will be more efficient for us to maintain separate operations within the U.S. in order to best serve our artist rosters and retailers going forward. We will ... work to make sure that it is a smooth transition for all."

Marcos Witt, founder and CEO of CanZion, added: "We respect Integrity Media Group very much, and are excited about continuing working together in different areas to reach the Spanish-language community worldwide. The redefinition of our working together in the U.S. will help each of our companies maintain better focus toward that end."
