Two titles by Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Marcher Lord Press (MLP)--a publisher of Christian speculative fiction--recently won EPIC (Electronically Published Internet Connection) Awards.

Starfire by Stuart Vaughn Stockton was recognized in the Science Fiction category, while By Darkness Hid by Jill Williamson-the first book in the "Blood of Kings" trilogy--won the Fantasy and/or Paranormal Fiction division.

"Not only did their novels beat out every other Christian science fiction or fantasy in the contest, they beat out all the science fiction and fantasy novels of all kinds," said Jeff Gerke, MLP founder and publisher. "This is a terrific affirmation of Stuart's grand, alien vision, of Jill's masterful sense of what's cool in fantasy and the excellent fiction skills of both authors."

The EPIC Awards have been given annually for the past 10 years, recognizing outstanding achievement in e-publishing.
