Carpentree-TheBible-WebWall art company Carpentree recently acquired the framed art license for The Bible series from producer Mark Burnett and actress Roma Downey.

“We will be the exclusive licensee to frame this product,” said Jordan Hobson, sales director with the Tulsa, Okla.-based company.

More than 100 million people worldwide have watched The Bible miniseries, whether on the History Channel or on DVD.

“The idea of bringing people to Christ through an opportunity like this is just tremendous,” Hobson said. “We feel very humbled to be a part of the opportunity.”

There are currently five pieces in the collection, and they are made in America. The company started shipping to stores this week. Retail price range starts at under $39.95 and goes up to $84.95.

“They all come with the tagline of The Bible so anyone that sees them in the store they’re going to know right away that it comes from that series, and it’s merchandised with the DVD,” Hobson said.

Burnett and Downey have plans for another Bible-themed movie next Easter and future series as well, so “the evergreen opportunity for this product is absolutely phenomenal,” Hobson said. “We expect it to be around for a long time.”
