JesusCallingAppThomas Nelson’s Jesus Calling app has sold more than 200,000 units. Ranked in the top 10 best-selling apps for the iPhone and iPad for two years, Jesus Calling is one of the few best-selling apps that is not a game and is priced at $9.99.

"The Jesus Calling app offers a new level of accessibility for this outstanding devotional content," said Laura Minchew, senior vice president and publisher of specialty products. "We hear that readers love the ease of sharing content daily through social media and the immediate gift-ability of the app."

In 2004, Young's prayer journal writings were compiled into a devotional written from the perspective of Jesus speaking directly to the reader. With more than 9 million copies sold, the 365-day devotional has consistently appeared on multiple best-seller lists.

The line has expanded to include the devotionals Jesus Today, Jesus Lives, Dear Jesus; Jesus Calling Devotional Bible; Jesus Calling for Kids; and Jesus Calling Bible Storybook. The devotional also has inspired a multi-formatted product line that includes e-books, apps, audiobooks, calendars, greeting cards and music.
