Going Rogue: An American Life, the highly anticipated memoir from former Alaskan governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, will release to Christian retail stores through Zondervan on Nov. 17 for $28.99.

The book, which is expected to chronicle the candidate's political background including her vice presidential bid, will have an initial first printing of 1.5 million copies. Palin worked with ghostwriter Lynne Vincent, co-writer of Same Kind of Different As Me (Thomas Nelson).
Despite speculation when the book was first announced, there will not be a separate Christian retail edition of the memoir with additional content. Internet retailer Amazon.com has listed Going Rogue as its number one best-seller, due to pre-orders.

Also on the political front, former Senator Bill Frist's A Heart To Serve: The Passion to Bring Health, Hope and Healing will release Oct. 5 from Center Street/Hachette Book Group.
