Hosted by Christian Retailing magazine, the Web-based event involves 25 exhibitors that participated in last month's International Christian Retail Show in Denver, presenting products and extending some special offers to buyers. The virtual show has attracted more than 2,800 visits from 52 countries since it was launched July 20.

Show specials include a 50% discount when ordering two or more copies of at least four PrayerShop titles or 10 total books. The publisher's latest titles include Power Praying: Hearing Jesus' Spirit by Praying Jesus' Prayer by David Chotka, Stark Raving Obedience: Radical Results From Listening Prayer by Ted and Isaiah Kallman, and Prayer and the End of Days: Praying God's Purposes in Troubled Times and The Devil Goes to Church: Combating the Everyday Attacks of Satan, both by David Butts.

PrayerShop Publishing--the publishing arm of Harvest Prayer Ministries and the Church Prayer Leaders Network focused solely on prayer--offers books, booklets, prayer guides, teaching DVDs and CDs as well as resource kits, which can be purchased through Anchor Distributors, Ingram Distributors and STL Distribution North America.

Running through Aug. 31, the virtual tour also features Webinar training for stores. Held earlier this month, the first presentation by Carpentree on "Successful Art and Gift Sales" was in high demand and was sold out. Kerusso's Webinar on "Keys to Apparel Sales Success" is set for Aug. 18, 11 a.m. EST.

The training sessions are being recorded for subsequent viewing at the site, which will also host author and artist release parties. There is also a link to a new social networking forum through which retailers and suppliers can connect for fellowship, encouragement and business. Further virtual shows will follow, spotlighting seasonal and other special-focus selling opportunities.
