This Ain't Prettyville by Chonda Pierce (No Whining Productions/Provident-Integrity Distribution) remained atop the SoundScan's Christian Videos list for sales the week ending April 28, while Over and Underneath by Tenth Avenue North (Reunion Records/Provident-Integrity) continued to hold the top spot of Christian/Gospel music Christian retail chart.

A Utah-based company that produces a DVD player that enables viewers "to enjoy all of the great Hollywood movies--without all of the junk" is looking to make the product available to more Christian and church retailers.

Karen Kingsbury’s strong debut on ECPA list Print Email

The third in Karen Kingsbury's movie-making series, Take Three (Zondervan) made a strong debut on its release last month.

The title takes the top spot in the May multi-channel best-sellers list from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) and the second slot in the group's chart based on sales in the Christian retail channel.

‘The Shack’ reaches milestone Print Email

Christian publishing sensation The Shack (Windblown Media/Hachette Book Group USA) has reached another milestone.

As of May 2, William P. Young's self-published novel has spent 100 consecutive weeks on the New York Times Paperback Trade Fiction best-seller list, with more than 50 weeks at No. 1, Hachette officials said. It has also been on Publishers Weekly and USA Today best-seller lists for the same period.

ECPA holds Nashville event despite flooding Print Email

The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) is going ahead with its May 3-5 Executive Leadership Summit, despite flooding in the Nashville area. Other publishers and agencies in the area have been affected, and some offices are closed.
