Christine Rich, who owns The Good Book Store in Sequim, Wash., with her husband, Noel, won the $10,000 free product giveaway sponsored by Christian Retailing magazine.

A crowd gathered at publisher Strang Communications' booth for the afternoon drawing made by John Morgan, an impersonator of President George W. Bush. The Riches will receive free products with a retail value of $10,000 donated by 40 Christian Retailing advertising partners. Competition entry forms were placed at all participating company's booths to encourage retailer traffic.

Rich said that she was "dumbfounded" by her win. "I'm blown away," she added. "It's going to be a great help to us."

A former children's pastor and "book junkie," Rich opened her store with her husband's support 10 years ago. Located in a downtown store with around 900 square feet of sales space, The Good Book Store draws shoppers from an adjoining cafe with which it shares a connecting door and some of the many tourists who visit the area.

With four part-time staff, the store is open six days a week, 9 a.m-5:30 p.m. "It's been a wonderful experience," Rich said. "God is so faithful. We went into it knowing it was a ministry; we never intended to get rich. Our priority is to listen and be available."
