After launching its 75th anniversary celebrations earlier in the day, Zondervan continued on a high note last night by taking home four of the six supplier trophies presented at the CBA Retailer Impact Awards. The company collected the Supplier of the Year award for the fourth consecutive year and the seventh time since 1978, beating out nominees Bob Siemon Designs, Christian World Inc., EMI CMG Distribution, New Day Christian Distributors and Tyndale House Publishers. CBA Director of Communications and Marketing Leon Wirth said that Zondervan was voted best supplier by retailers for prompt order delivery, easy ordering over the Internet and good problem-solving. One retailer said Zondervan was “undoubtedly the best company in all aspects,” Wirth added. Zondervan also took awards for Excellence in Distribution and Service to the Christian Retail Channel and Outstanding Support to the Christian Retail Channel. The company also took the award for Outstanding Products for the Christian Retail Channel, an honor shared with P. Graham Dunn.
The award for Excellence in Sales and Marketing Programs went to DaySpring, who one retailer said was “willing to go above and beyond to help us. … ”
