Integra Interactive has announced the signing of agreements with Daywind Music Group, Provident Label Group and Word Entertainment for the licensing rights to burn in-store their respective accompaniment tracks through the Integra myMEDIA BurnBar system. “This will usher in a new era in the merchandising for Christian brick and mortar retailers,” said David Amster, chief innovation officer for Integra Interactive. The first category of content to be added to myMEDIA BurnBar is TraxNOW!, featuring more than 3,000 track titles from Daywind, Provident and Word. With more than 1,500 systems installed in 650-plus retailers, Integra is the leading digital solutions provider to the Christian retail market. “We are encouraged to see that Integra is developing a channel for selling performance tracks digitally within the brick and mortar accounts,” said Keith Stancil vice president of General Markets and International Sales for Word Distribution. “Performance tracks are an important part of our ministry, marketing and sales initiatives, and we look forward to seeing great results from our new partnership with TraxNOW!” MyMEDIA BurnBar will launch May 1, with 100 retailers representing independent stores from all marketing groups, franchises and chains. Amster said Integra has developed a proprietary reporting and payment method that ensures all copyright holders are paid. “And best of all, they do not have to 'buy in advance' the right to burn a certain number of tracks,” he said.
All burning accompaniment track CDs will retail for $9.98. The words to the song are in a PDF file on the CD.
