Major retail supplier Word Distribution will launch “The Gift Goes On” promotion this fall to enhance retail music sales. Running Nov. 24-Dec. 31, the promotion offers The Gift Goes On Christmas keepsake book free when consumers purchase a featured music title from Word.

The book contains 120 pages bound in an embossed, UV-coated hardcover and features Word's family of artists, as well as select NavPress signature authors sharing their favorite Christmas memories, recipes, song lyrics, holiday stories and more, Word said in a statement.

The promotion is exclusive to Christian retail stores. “Compiling thoughtful Christmas memories from our roster of artists into this high-quality gift book, we are confident that The Gift Goes On book will drive store traffic and increase the dollars per transaction as consumer demand for this exclusive gift increase this Christmas shopping season,” said Rodney Bowen, senior marketing director.

In addition to the in-store merchandising kits, online tools to support the promotion are available, including a downloadable postcard, animated banner ad and downloadable artists' on-hold liners.

Featured artists in the promotion include BarlowGirl, Big Daddy Weave, Building 429, By The Tree, Amy Grant and Natalie Grant.
