Word Distribution has announced new agreements with two independent entertainment groups, Indelible Creative Group and Centricity Records, to distribute each company's merchandise into the Christian and general markets in the U.S. and worldwide. “We welcome Indelible Creative Group and Centricity Records to the Word Distribution family of labels,” said Word Distribution President Mark Funderberg. “(Indelible President/Founder) Chris Thomason's ability to sign and develop great talent like Israel and Lincoln Brewster, along with ministry-driven products including 'iWorship' and 'Songs 4 Worship', has been proven over the years with his former post at Integrity Music. “We are also excited to partner with industry veteran (and Centricity Records Vice President of A&R) John Mays, who has developed great talents, such as Cindy Morgan, Point of Grace, Scott Krippayne, Wes King, Nichole Nordeman and the 'Passion' worship projects.” Indelible Creative Group's first releases in the new agreement include the debut from The Longing, a new band fronted by award-winning songwriter Jason Ingram, on May 9; and Velocity, a “music experience” that connects independent artists with a mission to impact the world, on June 6.
Seattle and Nashville-based Centricity Records' release lineup includes new albums from Dove Award-winning Downhere, May 23; Jamie Jamgochian, June 9; and Circleslide, July 11.
